Artist's Comments

This piece was kinda unintentional. I was just playing around with a new hair object (wildcat hair) and things just got outta hand.

The hair looked soooo similar to a friend's character's hair sooo... I slapped on the head piece and rendered her...

Ladeehawk is a rad/rad defender.

The objects in this piece is the v4 model, wildcat hair, and the Valkyrie headpiece. Everything else was done in the mat room or post worked in.

The only thing I wished I did differently was to make the light spots (aka specularity and highlights) green as opposed to white. But then, who knew I was going to actually make a final piece out of it?

-Rendered in Poser 7
-Post work in PS CS3

Breath taking. Your best yet Ann!

Actually to simulate the 'green glow' from her hand, you could add an additional light, with the same green hue, and position it appropriately.

Hiya even though I hadn't had you watched...I've been stopping by and checking in on your stuff..

I've liked what I've seen...

I know it's presumptuous of me, but I read the comments on this image about the green lighting... and I knew how to fix that, so I took the liberty. I hope you don't mind.

See here

I really hope you don't take offense... I figure the community is a bunch of artists trading art and info, so if you wanna know how I did it I don't mind sharing....

I'm not sure how agreeable you are when others just up and edit your art and then surprise you with it, but I am not cool with it. Others may react differently to this, but I only know things from my feelings and perspective and what I am feeling right now is offended. So yes. It was presumptuous of you.

And the "green spots" I was talking about was editing the specularity and highlight of the light setting on the materials in the poser mat room, not as something to be postworked in. But as I've said, I didn't even intend for the piece to even be anything remotely final and I didn't even know that she was going to be having her powers or whatnot show. Sure, I could have edited it in, but it was something I noticed after posting the piece. Had I wanted to edit in the lighting effect filters and change the hue, I would have done so. In fact, I'd probably duplicate the layer and mask it just showing the spots, but that was extra work after submitting a piece I decided was finished despite the flaws. My vision of the piece is as it is, but only with the highlights and specs that I wished I done differently. Having her completely green is not how I envisioned her so again, you were wrong in assuming that I wanted her to look that way.

I'm sorry if this seems bitchy to you, but its one thing to offer suggestions, it's an entirely different thing go ahead and edit someone elses work.

My utmost apologies.. deleted from photobucket and harddrive.

Like I said didn't me to offend...
