No Droid Left Behind

Well, except this one. She's still roaming around the abandoned city. Still doing what she's programed to do (whatever that is). All alone. Poor thing.

Got the concept from watching a trailer of Pixar's new movie, Wall-e.

This marks as my very first Sci-Fi render lol.

So what started as a test with Poser's Firefly depth of field (which sucks balls by the way) developed into a 6 hour long piece complete with several render passes and 2 hours of postwork in PSCS3...

Since the concept was warming up to me as I was rendering the scene about a million times, I felt compelled to complete the damn thing. And because Firefly's DoF is terrible, I had to postwork in the DoF in Photoshop.

I also got some nice new HDRIs from Dosch so I had to give them a whirl as well.

Note to self: Stick with C4D for DoF *sigh*
